Children are undoubtedly the future of every nation but what we witness from time to time a host of inhumane activities taking place. No idea why, but in the last few years, Pakistan has seen a drastic rise in child-related cases, which is alarming.
In this technologically advanced era, social media has become the prime source of learning plus entertainment. But it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Every now and then, different platforms are filled with some agonizing event that sends shivers down the spine. A similar case just took place in Pakistan’s Sindh region where an innocent 8-year-old girl lost her life to a pedophile.
Man takes 8-year-old Rukhsar’s life in Ramadan
As it is said that the evil vanishes during the month of Ramadan but this recent case displays another torturous segment. According to the acquired details, the heart-wrenching incident happened in Hyderabad city. A sick-minded man’s perverted intention towards a small child of his area led to a filthy crime and the world lost another innocent soul.

The case emerged from Hyderabad’s Latifabad area’s Bengali Colony when 8-year-old Rukhsar was called to pick up tailored clothes. On her way, the poor girl was kidnapped and then brutally abused by a person in the same area. Afterward, he viciously killed Rukhsar and her bruised dead body was thrown in the Quaid Millat park of the city.
It is indeed a shame that we, as a nation have miserably failed. Yes, we’ve failed in protecting our kids from such perverted individuals residing between us. Well, the latest reports tell that after initiating the investigation, the local police found the culprit. Speaking on the matter, the police stated that they found the abuser with the help of an installed CCTV camera.
Viral case of the 7-year-old Zainab
At such points, all criticism goes to the rotten judicial system of Pakistan that doesn’t punish such sick minds, accordingly. The prime example of such is the previous Zainab case whose actual perpetrators are still at large. The last major development was made in 2019 when Zainab’s father was appointed as the Focal Person for child abuse in Kasur, Punjab.

Looking over the last few years, Pakistan has been suffering from the worst kind of moral crisis. This needs to be alleviated. At one point, case like Zainab’s had become rampant in Kasur city of Punjab. However, the 7-year-old’s case had really brought the prevailing issue to the main spotlight.
Recently, the CPO Faisalabad Sohail Ahmad Chaudhry ‘encountered’ 4 child abusers, taking their lives on the spot – for which he earned a lot of appreciation.
