Severe Weather Hits Pakistan Floods and Warnings

As heavy rains continue in various parts of Pakistan, the Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir brace for more downpours, with snowfall predicted in the northern mountain ranges. Islamabad and nearby areas may see heavy rainfall and strong winds, while Kurram, Waziristan, and other regions might experience thunderstorms.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the devastating weather has already claimed 46 lives and injured 60 in rain-related accidents across different districts, with significant damage to homes and livestock. Flood situation has worsened, urging urgent relief efforts by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority and emergency response teams. Citizens are being reminded to keep cautious and take precautions in the midst of the ongoing severe weather.
