In such tight times, when America and Iran are on the verge of a full-fledged war, none of the leaders seem to hold back. The heated ties escalated after President Donald Trump released assassination orders of Iran’s Qasem Soleimani. Responsively, earlier today, Iran launched a series of ballistic missiles on two US facilities bases located in Iraq.
Iranian military force attacks two US military bases in Iraq!
Soon after the US made attacks on Major General Qasim Soleimani’s convoy in Baghdad, Iran gave out the call for vengeance. In fact, later, Iran then raised the red flag of war implying vengeance against the US and the strategy was applied recently. This week, on Wednesday, Iran targets two US military bases situated in Iraq reflecting upon the recent killing of Qasem Soleimani.
Here’s what Iran’s Foreign Minister has to say on the decision!
Iran took & concluded proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of UN Charter targeting base from which cowardly armed attack against our citizens & senior officials were launched.
We do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression.

As of now, there are no reports of any casualties regarding Iran’s attack on US military bases. According to Iran’s national television, ”The Revolutionary Guards Corps had attacked Ain al-Asad military base, where US troops are stationed. A second facility near Erbil airport was also hit”.
”Iran took & concluded proportionate measures in self-defense!”
Accepting the responsibility of the attack, Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif called it ‘self-defense’. Taking to his official Twitter, Zarif wrote, ”Iran took & concluded proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of UN Charter. Targeted base from which cowardly armed attack against our citizens & senior officials were launched”.
”We do not seek escalation or, war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression”, it concluded. Reportedly, the attack was led by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in the early hours of Wednesday. While Iran is stating that the targeted attack killed almost 80 American military men stationed, the US hasn’t yet confirmed any such news.

As per the President’s latest tweet, the assessment of casualties and the damages is going on and it’s all positive till now. With a statement due tomorrow, Trump tweeted, ”All is well! Apparently, it is a known fact that the war stance between the US and Iran isn’t going to calm down anytime soon. As of now, many are worried about Iran as it is not that well-equipped and advanced in the military as the US. Well, Iran is even incapable of releasing hefty military budgets while America spends the most money on its defense.
