With plans of responding to the event, Iran’s IRGC later targeted two US military bases in Iraq to avenge Soleimani. Earlier today, on Saturday, Iran after accepting that it hit the Ukrainian passenger plane further blamed ”human error” for the traumatizing incident.
President Rouhani calls the incident ‘unforgivable mistake’!

Twitteratis react to the recent revelation by Iran!
Well, the unexpected revelation has sparked a debate online and netizens are busy criticizing the Iranian government and forces. Apparently, rumors of Iran downing the Ukrainian flight were already circulating while the confirmation came in today. Concerned about all 176 human lives lost in the crash, many are accusing the Iranian government of knowing about the target beforehand.
What Iran actually lost!
Iran lost its top general.
Lost 56 people in a stampede at the funeral.
Accidently shot down Ukrainian #PS752, lost 176.
Failed to inflict any US casualties.
This lack of operational readiness reveals a lot about its conventional capabilities. #IranPlaneCrash

Comparing Iran with Pakistan!
Pakistan closed its airspace for all civilian traffic for 5 months after carrying out strikes in India in feb and here Iran fired dozen ballistic missiles without closing the airspace and also without inflicting any US casualties. This is a criminal negligence. #IranPlaneCrash
