Clearly, Dr. Aamir Liaquat does not really bag a decent reputation in this country. And rightfully so. He is famous for all the wrong reasons. From his Ramadan transmission to a lot more, this so-called Islamic scholar/host never fails to get under fire. But what he did this time is below the belt and absolutely outrageous! PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat constantly remains in the headlines for his comments on different personalities and this time it is on a picture from the Gujranwala rally.
In fact, he seems to be so unfazed by the embarrassment that he causes himself through his own doings that he does not even care anymore.
Gujranwala administration had granted permission to the opposition alliance to hold a rally at Jinnah Stadium in the city on October 16. Yesterday, Dr. Aamir Liaquat shared a picture from the Gujranwala rally meeting on his Twitter account and gave it a scandalous comment.
In the picture, a man appears to be standing behind a Uzma Zahid Bukhari, the former member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. Dr. Liaquat captioned the picture as, “the first result of the Gujranwala meeting received.”
Such sordid comments coming from a 49-year-old man who claims to be a religious scholar is downright appalling. To see such filth coming from him is just sad, and pathetic. No wonder why women of Pakistan will never feel safe.
Regardless of whichever party he supports, the least he could do is show some respect to women. When our national parliament hosts such people and they even make it to the top 500 ‘Muslim’ influential people- it shows where we stand as a nation.
The Twittersphere is fuming with anger over his obscene mentality
“Don’t you have a young daughter? And she must also be using Twitter. I mean how… We can’t even say ‘stay blessed’ to you anymore.”
Well, this is not the first time that Dr. Liaquat has enraged the public. In fact, he has a tendency of throwing filth every now and then. A person who is insensitive and lacks empathy even towards the dead, nothing can be expected of him.
Earlier, when people were mourning the death of Bollywood legends Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, Dr. Liaquat made some insensitive comments on television.
Dr. Liaquat and controversies come hand in hand. However, this is not his first controversy with the political members. In a nutshell, it seems as if he is being ignored by the ruling party, and in order to stay relevant, he is pulling off such daring feats.
