Terrorism at peak – a string of attacks in the nation against the political candidates continues taking its toll as the dark cloud of 3 suicide attacks raises the death count. The last and the third attack so far has taken the lives of 128 individuals while injuring 200 more in Mastung, Balochistan.

The suicide attack in Mastung ripped apart the political rally of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) which also led to the killing of the BAP leader and political candidate Nawabzada Siraj Raisani, PB-35. This attack was claimed by the Islamic State (IS).

My brother Siraj has been martyred,” uttered Lashkari Raisani, the elder brother of Siraj Raisani, who is also contesting for the National Assembly, Balochistan.

While recalling the brilliance and the sacrifices made by Siraj Raisani, notable Pakistani and international figures remember the martyred who died fighting for the prosperity of this nation.

“If I die, don’t waste a shed of your tear, 

Instead, continue to prosper for Pakistan.

For then I shall know that we have won.  

I am Siraj Khan Raisani Baloch and I will die as Pakistani.”
