Pakistan is strengthening its air force by incorporating the formidable J-31 Gyrfalcon, an advanced aircraft developed by China’s Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu confirmed the plans, emphasizing their significance in addressing regional challenges. The J-31, a stealth-enabled air superiority jet, aims to bridge the numerical gap with the Indian Air Force.
This acquisition follows strategic decisions that have already strengthened the Pakistan Air Force with the J-10C. The enduring partnership between Pakistan and China in advancing defense technologies is highlighted through acquisitions like the JF-17 Thunder and J-10C, shaping regional dynamics and emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to territorial integrity.
