There’s a video circulating on media nowadays. The visual appeal of this video is huge. It’s well-shot and well-edited. It’s fairly interesting too. But there’s one issue- I haven’t the slightest clue what it is.
The video is a teaser, which is evident by the “COMING SOON” at the end of it. But what exactly is it? Is it the teaser for a movie? For a commercial? For a music video? For a TV show? The only thing we have to go on is the hashtag #AbAyegaMaza
It is ordinarily very easy for me to figure out where a particular video comes from. This is because Pakistani media is usually not at par with media that is produced internationally. Be it the lack of equipment or any other reason, both the production quality and video quality is not great in Pakistani media. Camera angles are dragged out. Plot lines are weird.
Teasers from Pakistani media are usually convoluted and hard to understand. That is why this teaser is so startling for me. The camera quality is great. The production is outstanding. All the on-set elements feel like they naturally belong there. But most of all, they managed to get my interest. The 10-second teaser is enough to make me curious about what’s next. Even the ending with #AbAyegaMaza has gotten my interest.
I’m really hoping that it’s a movie but even if it isn’t, this quality of production from within Pakistan is something that really excites me. I can’t wait to see what this teaser is actually about.
