British-Pakistani singer Zayn Malik recently sent social media into a frenzy after he debuted his new bearded look on Instagram, people call him expensive Kabir Singh.
The former One Direction singer took to the photo-sharing app and treated fans to the look. While the post is Malik’s first post in 2022, it coincidentally also marked the singer’s new look after his split from model Gigi Hadid in October last year.
The couple first sparked romance rumors in November 2015 when they stepped out together at an American Music Awards afterparty. They had been dating on and off for years.
The photo is a side profile shot in which Malik is seen wearing round-framed sunglasses with his full-grown beard on full display. He did not put any caption for it.
A few desi fans went on to like the picture and drop interesting comments. Not just comments to compliment him but also went on to compare him to Shahid’s Kabir Singh. One of the fans of Zayn Malik wrote, “Expensive Kabir Singh.” Another fan commented, “Duplicate Kabir Singh”. Another fan was seen asking, “Kabir Singh is that you?”

For the unversed, the singer and supermodel Gigi Hadid reportedly split following the former’s altercation with the model’s mother Yolanda. Sources told People magazine, Malik and Hadid will now co-parent their daughter Khai, who was born in September 2020.
Malik posted a lengthy note on social media in which he asked for privacy for both him and his daughter Khai. Hadid and Malik have zealously guarded their daughter’s privacy and have never posted a picture showing her face online.
“In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago,” he added. He did not name the said family member but soon after he posted the note, tabloids published claims that it was Yolanda.
Malik later pleaded no contest to charges that he harassed his girlfriend and her reality TV star mother during a violent argument at the family’s home outside Philadelphia. He entered a plea to four summary counts of harassment. The plea means that Malik refused to admit guilt but accepted the punishment.
A judge sentenced him to 90 days of probation on each count or nearly a year total. He must complete an anger management class, be screened for, and “if approved,” complete a domestic violence program
