Pakistani actor and filmmaker Yasir Nawaz stirred controversy by suggesting that wives should be jailed if they don’t allow their husbands to marry again. He made this statement during an appearance on “Nadan Maizban With Mani” alongside his wife, Nida Yasir. Yasir called for a law requiring wives to arrange their husband’s second marriage.
Nida responded humorously, saying Yasir talks about this in every interview but doesn’t act on it. Yasir clarified that he wasn’t planning a second marriage but was offering advice to the government.

By sharing his thoughts on marital relationships he highlighted that the couples should stay in the same room despite disagreements, as it strengthens their bond. Mani admitted he sometimes sleeps in a separate room, especially as his children like to sleep with their mother.
