Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Kabir Hussain, in July. Iqra and Yasir recently unveil the face of their son to the public in the most social media parent way possible — they made an Instagram account for him.
Given that Hussain and Aziz are actors, both have always been in the spotlight. Especially during her pregnancy, Aziz flaunted her baby bump on social media. However, we never got to see the baby’s face until now.
It has hardly been 24 hours since little Kabir Hussain made his debut on Instagram and the little one already has more than 27,000 followers. Talk about a star baby. The account shows one picture of him so far — from an adorable baby photoshoot done by So Baby – Photography by Sobia.
The account was announced by the couple on social media. Aziz reposted a picture of her son on her Instagram account and wished him a “happy five months”.
“Meet Kabir Hussain,” she wrote in the caption. “Our hearts are full of love and we thought it’s time to share it with you all!” Hussain also took to Instagram Stories to share his son’s account. “Kabir Hussain is on Instagram,” he posted. “Follow him.”
It may be recalled that Aziz and Hussain previously refrained from showing their child’s face on social media. The latter also revealed the reason for the secrecy behind not showing the face of his son.
“I would have posted the picture today, but the child’s grandmother is the obstacle,” the actor said. As Pakistanis, we are all quite familiar with superstition, which could explain Aziz’s mother’s reluctance. This could also simply be a matter of not wanting a child exposed to the public eye.
Both Hussain and Aziz do not shy away from discussing parenting on Instagram. The couple previously caught themselves in a debate with PPP leader Sharmila Faruqi on a father’s role in bringing up a child.
Aziz had posted an Instagram picture of her husband changing the diaper of their newborn son Kabir, along with a note of appreciation for him.
“He changed Kabir’s clothes for the first time, I am so proud of you Yasir Hussain, you’ve helped me so much in this new phase of my motherhood from pamper changes to holding him while I rest for a bit, and making me breakfasts,” wrote the Khuda Aur Mohabbat actor.
However, it did not impress Farooqi, the PPP leader. She commented under the post that all good fathers do this for their kids. Hussain and Aziz were quick to clap back at her.
