Here’s Everything Islam Allows a Woman To Do In Ramadan While She Is On her Periods

Every year in Ramadan, women belonging to a specific age group are unable to join the religious month for about 5 to 7 days due to menstruation. As long as women get their periods till a certain age, they are not allowed to fast or offer prayer in the holy month of Ramadan.

With menstruation comes numerous biological changes, such as bloating, internal pains and hormonal changes. All of this, sometimes, accounts to women during menstruation less spiritual, leaving their Islamic goals for the month altogether.

All sorts of feminine concerns, such as postnatal bleeding and menstruation are creations of Allah and His wisdom. These, by no means, are to be deemed as a punishment from Allah. If Allah demands the women to refrain from the ritual fasting and ritual prayer, then it is also a form of worshipping, if done correctly.

 “Al-Ibadah is a collective term for all of the deeds and words which Allah loves and is pleased with [whether] inward or outward.”

Women often feel that those days when they’re on their period are making them miss out the opportunity to gather blessings in the holy month of Ramadan since they cannot fast or pray. However, this is not true at all. There are many Ibaadah that can be performed even while you are on your period. Here is a list of 10 such Ibadaat that any woman can easily perform for those days;
