2016 has been a very eventful year for Pakistan. From the chaiwala with the gorgeous looks to Sheikh Rasheed’s “performance” a few days ago, 2016 was anything but boring. One of the events that made it especially unique was a cover of the song “Afreen Afreen”.
The song was originally performed by none other than the legendary “Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan“.

Then, the cover came out this summer by none other than the beautiful and talented Momina Mustehsan along with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the nephew of NFAK.

This cover was amazing. We all thought this is the closest one could ever come to matching the original by the late NFAK. But we were wrong.

As you can see from the above videos, she can sing very well. And, as you know from the title of this article, she did a cover of Afreen Afreen, and it is beautiful.
