2. Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7 (GT 7) is one of the upcoming PS5 games. It is a racing simulator game. It is developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Horizon: Forbidden West is also a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn and is played in a post-apocalyptic open world with a third-person perspective.

Project Athia is one of those upcoming PS5 games that are only exclusive to Sony. It is set in a lush fantasy world comprising of different creatures and giant dragons. Destruction AllStars is a possible mashup of Fortnite and Twisted Metal. It is a vehicular combat game. Lucid Games are the developers. The announcement for the game was on June 11, 2020, at the PS5 reveal event. Judging from the game’s trailer, it appears that the battle starts with everyone inside high-powered vehicles. The action than directly transitions into a frantic free-for-all as you try to stop your driver from being run over.

9. Deathloop

Initially Unveiled at E3 2019, Deathloop is a stylized trailer that illustrated players surviving on a chaotic island where everyone’s to kill each other. In Deathloop, players transport to the lawless island of Blackreef in an eternal struggle between two extraordinary assassins. The game seems to be shaping up like an entry in Arkane’s Dishonored series. The game was dipped in the 70s with some righteous Saul Bass style to boot.

10. Ghostwire: Tokyo

According to the new gameplay reveal during the PS5 showcase event in June 2020, GhostWire: Tokyo will release sometime in 2021. The game is a new PS5 exclusive from Shinji Mikami and Tango Dreamworks. It focuses on the city of Tokyo. The city is going through a paranormal occult event. It leaves specific malevolent spirits for savaging the city as well as its survivors.

11. Oddworld: Soulstorm

The next game within the Oddworld series is a remake. Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty released in 2014 remade the original Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. However, the next title in the series, Oddworld: Soulstorm remakes its sequel, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus.  The game will release in 2020 for PlayStation 5. Soulstorm follows the protagonist of the series Abe. He stirs himself from worker bee complacency to lead an uprising with his fellow Mudokens against their exploitative capitalist overlords, the Glukkons.

12. Resident Evil 8: Village

Resident Evil 8: Village will soon be coming to the PlayStation 5. It looks as if the game will feature a return to its highly creepy European setting that illustrates the high point of the series in Resident Evil 4.
