He dared them to let him know how the UN will spend his $6.6 Billion to end hunger.

He said, if the organization could show exactly how the money would be spent then, he would “sell Tesla stock right now and do it.” It connected to a previous interview of CNN in which David called out all the Billionaires specifically him and Jeff Bezos.

People went crazy, that it will happen for real and Elon Musk can change the world if the UN accepts his offer. No one thought that the UN will ever respond to his tweet or accept his challenge.

Almost a few weeks later, today UN responded to his tweet and accepted his challenge with the full plan. The head of the WFP, David Beasley, called out Musk and shared the whole plan via tweet.

A few hours ago, David Beasley the head of WFP tweeted, “This hunger crisis is urgent, unprecedented, AND avoidable. @elonmusk, you asked for a clear plan & open books. Here it is!” Beasley said. “We’re ready to talk with you – and anyone else – who is serious about saving lives.”

In the statement, the UN said “US$3.5 billion would be used to purchase and deliver food, US$2 billion would go towards cash and food vouchers, US$700 million would be earmarked for countries to design and implement food programs, and US$400 million would ensure proper management of global and regional operations, administration and accountability.”

“The world is on fire. I’ve been warning about the perfect storm brewing due to Covid, conflict, climate shocks & now, rising supply chain costs,” Beasley tweeted. “IT IS HERE. 45M lives are at stake—and increasing daily. If you don’t feed people, you feed conflict, destabilization & mass migration.”
