The day started like any other day for me. I boarded a district line service towards Westminster where I work. I didn’t find a seat as usual and found myself standing in the aisles. However, this journey was particularly different, different in a good way.
I turned to the other aisle of seats behind me and someone caught my eye. Was that Fawad Khan with blonde hair? It can’t be?! I looked again and found the gora twin of Pakistan’s national hero, Fawad Khan.
My station was approaching and I couldn’t afford not letting my friends and family know about this discovery. With seconds to spare, I took pictures of Fred Khan (that’s what I’m calling him) and was off the tube.
I shared this picture with some of my friends and family just to see if I was going crazy. They all agreed that he’s almost an exact match.
I know a lot of people will say that I took the photo without his permission. However, for all those smarty pants out there – I took the photograph on public premises so actually, I’m within my legal right to do so. And perhaps, Fred Khan will become the next Chai Wala?
