There’s No Room For Gangsters Like Zafar Supari In Naya Pakistan!

Getting a person who’s committed a felony out of jail on bail, just because it’s something you’re rich enough to afford it, is part of the old Pakistan.

Just recently, the Rawalpindi police arrested a man on the Joint checkpost after he picked a fight with and pointed his gun at a poor rickshaw driver. After a while, it was discovered that the guilty individual was, in fact, Dhamial Choudhary Asad Mehmood Numberdar, a former candidate of PML-N as well as a current nominee for Union Council’s chairman position.

The Rawalpindi police, doing their work with utmost dedication and honesty, took him back to the police station and put him behind bars.

But when does anyone in Pakistan ever actually stay behind bars for the amount of time they deserve? Not long after he was arrested, the notorious gangster, Zafar Supari, came to bail him out and keep him from serving any time, hence encouraging the tradition of freeing criminals which were previously a trait of the old Pakistan.

But wait, there’s a silver lining to this. The Rawalpindi police, quite boldly, announced that they weren’t going to entertain this kind of dadagiri and ended up handcuffing Zafar as well!

If there’s one thing for sure, it’s that this serves as a reminder to everyone thinking they can still do wrong and get away with it. Well, listen up, awaam, corruption just ain’t Naya Pakistan’s cup of tea!
