For all the fans of Game of Thrones out there, George R.R. Martin is back with the new series teaser House Of The Dragon that is set 200 years before the fall of the throne.
Yes! The show you must have heard about it long time ago when Game of Thrones failed to produce an amazing show and Martin announced the prequel of the show.
Today, The House of the Dragons teaser was released and it’s something that every Game of Thrones fan should watch it. Because it holds emotions and takes you back to the time when the House Targaryen rise in its glory.
The House of the Dragon is one of the most anticipated TV shows that people were eagerly waiting for it. The cast is epic, the teaser exhibited the essence of Game of Thrones and the glimpse of battle.
For those who don’t know just like Game of Thrones was based on George R.R. Martin’s “The Song of Ice & Fire” book, the House of the Dragon is also based on his 2018’s “Fire & blood” book a history of House Targaryen.
The House Of The Dragon-Break Down Of The Teaser
After the bad experience and the worst finale of Game of Thrones fans were impatiently waiting for this show because they knew George R.R. Martin will do justice to the prequel and offer something that fans want to watch it.
As mentioned, the prequel takes you back to 200 years when the throne was ruling over seven kingdoms and the House of Targaryen enjoying their glory.
The teaser of House Of The Dragon begins with the Targaryen walking down to the cave route followed by a giant dragon head.
There’s also some glimpse of King Viserys I, Prince Daemon Targaryen, and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen – King Viserys I younger brother and the elder born respectively.
One of the interesting facts about the show is that they highlight the strongest houses in the seven kingdoms which will let the audience know about it in detail.
Then the scene where the Targaryen walking towards the Iron Throne looks epic with the dialogue “Dreams didn’t make us kings, dragons did.” Looking at that throne brings back old Game of Thrones memories.
Cast That Matters-The House of The Dragon
The creators did their best to cast amazing actors and whoever appeared in the trailer looks amazing. In this show, the cast is the most important thing, because each character has their own identity. And fans would love to know about it.
In-Game of Thrones fans got emotionally attached to some of the characters of the show. Because of the way, actors played the roles and it happened because of the perfect casting.
That’s what the House of the Dragon creators did. Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, and Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower.
Savannah Steyn, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, and Theo Nate have also joined the cast as members of the Velaryon family.
The show will be aired next year only on HBO Max, but the actual date of the show isn’t disclosed yet. It’s the first TV show series that got the prequel of a famous drama series.
