The Sindh government is all ready to launch a special safari train to promote tourism in the Thar Desert.
The safari train’s official journey will be on February 8, with a trial run taking place on February 7. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism, will lead the opening ceremony of “The Safari Train”.
Journey Details Thar Desert Safari Train :
Day 1 (Saturday): Depart from Karachi
Cantt. Station at 10:00 AM and arrive
at Chhor (Parchi Jeveri) at 5:00 PM.
Day 1 (Saturday): Evening: Enjoy
sunset views, camping, bonfire, music,
and dinner at Parchi Jeveri.
Day 2 (Sunday): Depart from Chhor at
7:00 AM and arrive at Khokhrapar Zero
Point at 8:30 AM. Have breakfast and
enjoy sightseeing at Zero Point.
Day 2 (Sunday): Depart from
Khokhrapar at 11:00 AM and arrive
back at Karachi Cantt. Station at
6:00 PM.
This safari train will start from Karachi and pass through Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, and Chhor before reaching Parchee Ji Veri Resort, where passengers can stay overnight.

Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah shared that this safari train will help people discover important historical and ancient sites in Sindh. Plans are also underway to make this service available regularly to boost tourism further.
