Seven FC Soldiers Embrace Martyrdom In Separate Attacks In Balochistan: ISPR

Seven soldiers have been martyred in two separate terror attacks in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

According to the ISPR statement, terrorists targeted a vehicle of the Frontier Corps (FC) in Mach using improvised explosive devices (IEDs). It claimed the lives of six Pakistan Army soldiers. In a separate incident at Kech, another soldier, Sipahi Imdad Ali embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with militants.

According to the military’s media wing, six soldiers, including a junior commissioned officer (JCO), were martyred. The incident happened when the FC patrolling team’s reconnaissance vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED) when it was returning to a base camp in Pir Ghaib, Mach in Balochistan.

A civilian driver also embraced martyrdom in the attack. The soldiers will be laid to rest in their native hometowns.

Just a day ago, another soldier was martyred and three others wounded when an explosive device ripped through a crowded bazaar near Mirali in North Waziristan tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Along with fighting terrorists, Pakistan Army is also helping the country in combating coronavirus. They have also set-up one of the biggest 10,000 bedded quarantine facility at Expo Center Karachi.
