Today, both the government and TLP fall under the hood of agreement.

The government reached an agreement with TLP

Mufti Muneeb said this agreement was not a “victory or defeat” of any group. “The agreement was reached after sense prevailed over aggression.”

“This is the news for the entire nation, and the national media should portray it positively.” He also thanked all groups involved in negotiations.

“I am thankful to the prime minister for empowering the committee and trusting it, and also to the committee for working dedicatedly to resolve this matter,” he said, adding that the TLP exhibited the same attitude.

Prophet Mohammad’s cartoons incident took the level of rage to next level. In March, one of the Pakistanis attacked the Charlie Hebdo office and claimed that PM Imran Khan and Khadim Rizvi inspired him.

Due to that incident, this year till now TLP protested three times. And every time they sabotaged the country’s property and injured innocent people.

What’s the negotiation?

The government called the main members of TLP for the first-round talk on the issue going on. But didn’t go well and later the government asked the top authority members to involve.

They belong to the Barelvi school of thought and managed to moderate between government and TLP.

“it’s decided in a meeting of the National Security Committee that the talks with TLP should be given priority. And that the problem dealt with wisely.”

Speaking about the agreement, Qureshi said that “a path of peace and improvement found. He said, “damage to property and loss of life seen in just a few days, referring to the banned outfit’s protests.”

He said, “Pakistan did not benefit from the chaos.”

Now it depends on TLP members for how long they hold back and don’t put the country in jeopardy.
