It’s shocking that we are now living in a world where the definition of everything is contradicting to what it once used to be. For instance, learning was once a process of teaching something with kindness so that it’s easier for anyone to understand it in a better way. But now this process of teaching with love includes beating also. Maybe because we think that it’s the only possible way by which, especially a child, can understand something in a better way. Recently, a video has been making people crazy where a child is being beaten by a Qari Sahab while he was teaching him.

This is not the first time that such an event has occurred. These sorts of occurrences have been very common now as it’s now a convenient way of teaching children. It’s indeed both sad and shameful at the same time that we have made learning a process of always being scared of the teacher and if not, then be prepared to be beaten up badly. It’s not the subject which makes a child want to learn it, rather it’s the fear that makes an innocent kid want to remember the words by any means possible.

For any such event, both the parents are teachers should be held responsible. Parents should keep on eye on how the teacher is treating their child. Turning blind towards what your child is going through makes you equally responsible for all what’s happening to your son/daughter. However, if your parenting involves abusing, then always remember that by fear, you can never earn your child’s love for you. Hence, it’s better to teach with love and tenderness.
