Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise has left his family, friends, and fans in a state of shock. Barely 24 hours after the actor’s demise, his sister-in-law passes away while his last rites were being performed.
According to media reports, Sudha Devi, the wife of Rajput’s cousin, couldn’t bear the loss and breathed her last in Purnea district of Bihar. Sudha had reportedly stopped eating when she was informed about Rajput’s death by suicide. Sushant’s cousin brother Panna Singh told IANS on Tuesday that Sushant’s brother Amarendra Singh’s wife was suffering from liver cancer and died on Monday evening. He said she was unconscious for two days after she learned of Sushant’s death.
The reports state that Sushant’s sister-in-law was dealing with prolonged illness and after hearing about the actor’s death, she could not bear it. She died while the actor was being cremated in Mumbai on June 15.
Rajput was very close to his family. His father Krishna Kumar Singh had also collapsed when he heard about the actor’s death over a phone call. A couple of weeks before the actor’s death, he had shared a post for his late mother on Instagram. Sushant had lost his mother when he was 16 and was very close to her.
As per people’s perception, taking his life would be the last thing to expect from an achiever like him. The reason for his death remains a mystery. His fans, friends, and family have been honoring the actor after his death.
