On June 14, the 34-year-old actor, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence. Ever since then the police began investigating his case. Many claimed that the actor did not commit suicide, but was murdered.
A forensic investigation took place and the scene of crime revealed that there was ligature strangulation and asphyxia. Numerous speculations were circulating on the Internet claiming that Sushant did not die by suicide.

Sushant was found dead at his sixth-floor apartment. The earlier findings alleged that his last phone calls were to the actress Rhea Chakraborty, and a friend named Mahesh Shetty. Both the calls went unanswered. There was a further investigation done regarding what the actor did before ending his life.
In addition, there were actually many mysterious happenings surrounding the death of the actor. For instance, a rumor was circulating that the CCTV camera stopped working just a day before the actor died. He left no suicide note. There were various other conspiracies taking rounds on the Internet.
In fact, Sushant’s family is reported to have demanded to investigate the case. They were certain that the actor has been murdered. According to some sources, he was clinically diagnosed with depression. Moreover, Sushant’s manager, as well as his sister told the Mumbai Police that the deceased had stopped taking his medicines a while ago.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s Final Post-mortem Report
Since his fans and family claimed his death to be a murder, the post-mortem report of the actor was eagerly awaited. On Wednesday, the Mumbai Police ruled out any criminal offense in Sushant’s case. The final post-mortem report has confirmed that it was indeed a suicide.
There were no external injuries or struggle marks found on his body. The cause of the actor’s death is now identified as ‘asphyxia due to hanging’. The final autopsy report was analyzed by a team of five doctors. Three doctors are reported to have signed the provisional post-mortem report.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s news of passing away had got the entire world in a state of shock. People were not ready to believe that the actor could take his own life. The news came as a big surprise to everyone.

So far, a total of 23 people were questioned by the police, including his rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Their statements were recorded. The actor’s viscera is preserved and sent for chemical analysis for further details.
Besides this, the police have also clarified that the CCTV cameras of the actor’s building were working. Sushant’s black Labrador Fudge is also confirmed to be alive. It is reported that the dog was in another room at the time of the incident.
The Mumbai police have written a letter to the DG Forensics and as for now, they are waiting for the viscera report.
