Actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide a couple of weeks back at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The untimely death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput shocked everyone to the core.
The 34-year-old actor made his debut with the 2013 film ‘Kai Po Che’. He rose to fame from this movie, and other ones like ‘Dhoni: The Untold Story’, ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ and ‘Chhichhore’.
Apart from acting and dance, Sushant was passionate about many other things. The actor had proved his love for astronomy on his social media. In addition, he once expressed that his childhood dream was to become an astronaut and work at NASA. In fact, he even bought a telescope for himself and used to take enjoy the view of space and satellites.
According to reports, Sushant’s net worth was about 59 crores INR.
Reportedly, the actor used to charge around 5-7 crore INR for a movie.
He owned many lavish items and loved to spend his time watching the space. The actor was super fascinated with the celestial bodies. He enjoyed talking about the moon, stars, the sun, and all other things related to space.
Moreover, the telescope he owned was not any ordinary telescope. It was a pretty steep one as he always wanted to see the rings of the planet Saturn. When he got this Meade 14″ LX600, Sushant took the news to his Instagram and shared, “It’s one of the most advanced telescopes in the world and I’m going to be able to see Saturn’s rings through it.”
Not only did the actor own a telescope but he also owned a flight simulator. He usually used this for training pilots. Interestingly, his love for space was so extreme that he also bought a piece of land on the moon. This land is found in a region called the Mare Muscoviense or the ‘Sea of Muscovy’.

It is to be noted that he is the only Indian who had bought a piece of land on the moon. The property was seemingly bought from the International Lunar Lands Registry. Before him, it was Shah Rukh Khan who owned a piece of land on the moon, but he did not buy it. Instead, it was gifted to him by a fan.
Besides being a space buff, the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also passionate about luxury vehicles. He was a bike enthusiast and owned a BMW K 1300 R motorcycle. He was also a fan of the luxury sports cars and owned Land Rover Range Rover SUV and Maserati Quattroporte.
Sadly, the sudden demise of the 34-year-old actor was deeply devastating and shocking. Numerous speculations were circulating on the Internet claiming that the cause of Sushant’s death was not suicide. However, his post-mortem reports confirmed that the actor committed suicide.
