Pakistan today, will witness a super blue moon, Monday 18th of August. The rare celestial event will take place at 11:26 pm.
It is not the first time the moon will appear bigger to Earthlings, but it has occurred repeatedly. On the contrary, the moon is also never blue, however, it is a unique story that marks its name. Most probably, the idea was first marked by the volcanic eruption of the 19th century turning the sky blue, and the moon blue.

Moreover, it is not the only time the moon will get bigger in size, but according to SUPARCO, Pakistan’s space unit, the phenomena will reoccur on September 18, October 17, and November 15.
So, why does this phenomenon occur? Earth is not a completely large sphere. Moreover, some surfaces may be closer to the moon than others. Moreover, the moon appears 226, 000 miles away.
Furthermore, NASA has suggested that this phenomenon occurs when moon is either in full or half lunar phase.
