Bollywood’s versatile singer Sonu Nigam has come across the famous song Bol Hu of local band Soch along with young Pakistani singer Hadiya Hashmi. The Indian singer was left in tears listening to the mesmerizing song.
Last year, one of the most prominent gems to have been discovered in the form of fifth-grader Hadiya Hashmi. She came into limelight after her first-ever performance in Nescafe Basement.
Hadiya Hashmi won millions of hearts including Sonu Nigam with her soulful voice in Bol Hu. Many artists and fans lauded the youngster for her matured vocals as the track was hailed as one of the best on the show.
While praising Hadiya and the song, Nigam said, “After a long time something has touched my heart. The song is great, amazing lyrics, and loved this girl Hadiya. I am blown away with this song. I am floored and I am crying badly after listening to the song. I’ve heard this song before but really listened to it for the first time today. God bless Hadiya and the Soch band.”

The band also thanked the ace Bollywood singer for his kind words. “We have grown up following you and listening to your music, so it’s like a dream come true for us. Thank you Sonu Sir, it is always gratifying and nice to hear something heartfelt like this from a fellow artist across the border.”
Also, song producer Xulfi thanked Nigam for motivating the young singers to work hard to fulfill their dream.
“I don’t only have one thing to thank him for, there are multiple things. The first thing I would want to thank him for is the way his reaction must have elated the spirits of Adnan, Rabi, and Hadiya. There’s no comparison to that. I really want to appreciate is the honest reaction by Sonu. We hardly see this sort of response anymore. This is how an artist reacts to music. The gratification I felt after Sonu’s reaction is unexplainable,” he said.

The hit Pakistani song Bol Hu also went on to feature in Bollywood thriller Malang as well. The film starred Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemu in the lead roles.
Hadiya Hashmi’s rendition of the song, Bol Hu, earned the young singer high praise by many and by Sonu Nigam and the title of future Abida Parveen. Pakistan is truly blessed in terms of talent. We have many young talented kids who can be the future of Pakistan in different fields.
