The defending World and Asian Under-21 Snooker Champion, Ahsan Ramzan, faced an unexpected circumstance when he was arrested by the Lahore Police for an alleged disturbance.

In preparation for upcoming competitions, Ahsan Ramzan was training at a snooker place in Lahore’s Town Ship neighborhood when the incident took place. Ahsan Ramzan was detained after the Green Town police carried out a late-night raid on the snooker club, which was still open.
When the incident occurred, top snooker player, Ahsan Ramzan was taking part in practice with other players. Everyone was unprepared for the police’s unexpected raid. Ahsan Ramzan made an effort to identify himself, but the police still led the way as they led him to the station. His justifications were ignored even at the station as he was given a more in-depth examination.
Ahsan Ramzan’s private stuff, including his wallet and phone, was taken away when he arrived at the police station. He was taken into custody to be questioned and looked into. Fortunately, a close friend who soon arrived at the station intervened and gained his release.

Ahsan Ramzan was upset after the incident. He recounted his account of the sad events in a moving video message. He recalled how he had won the titles of World and becomes the youngest IBSF world champion, proudly representing his nation. But the reaction he got from the cops was not at all what he had anticipated.
Ahsan Ramzan was extremely ashamed and disappointed by the situation because he has always strived to respect his country via his achievements. To higher officials, such as the Prime Minister and the Inspector General of the Punjab Police, he appealed for justice. He hopes that his cries for justice and acknowledgment of his accomplishments will be taken seriously.
