Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon announces new projects for Sindh’s transportation system post Eidul Fitr, focusing on Karachi and other areas. Planned initiatives include the second phase of Pink Bus Service for women in Karachi, new routes for EV buses, and the launch of People’s Bus Service in Mirpurkhas.

Additionally, a free shuttle service between Orange Line BRT and Greekaraphi Line BRT will commence in Karachi, aiming to improve transportation accessibility. Memon also mentioned upcoming projects like the ground-breaking of BRT Yellow Line and the procurement of 500 buses for the People’s Bus service fleet. However, it’s important to note that the completion of previous projects was delayed due to corruption issues. It seems that the initiation of new projects may be driven by corrupt motives rather than genuine concern for public welfare.
