The rapidly extending social platform YouTube has completely taken over the digital podium. Among other known Pakistani personalities, former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar also hopped onto the social bandwagon earlier this year. Eventually, after gaining millions of subscribers on his official channel in a short period, recently, Shoaib Akhtar got featured in 2019’s YouTube Rewind video.
Shoaib Akhtar becomes the first Pakistani to appear in YouTube Rewind 2019!
Globally known as the fastest bowler of all times, Shoaib Akhtar now shares his opinion on the current national squad’s performance. Similarly, earlier, Shoaib Akhtar praised Pakistani T20I captain Babar Azam for his solo efforts on the Australian tour. However, Shoaib Akhtar has now become the first Pakistani to appear in YouTube Rewind 2019 along with other world stars.

Started by YouTube in 2010, the annual social recap by the platform has now gained worldwide popularity. Particularly, every year the YouTube Rewind video series is created and produced by YouTube and Platform A Interactive. Unluckily, till now, no Pakistani had made it worthy to get a feature in the video but the speedster Shoaib Akhtar made it happen this year.

Since 2019’s YouTube Rewind video has been released, Pakistanis are thrilled to see the cricket icon in it. Among the features, Shoaib Akhtar appeared in the appraisable creation in its ‘new creators‘ category with other YouTubers. Currently, the Rawalpindi Express’ official YouTube channel has 1.79 million subscribers and counting.

It was indeed a proud moment for his admirers and followers after they watched the YouTube Rewind of 2019. However, alongside Shoaib Akhtar, several Hollywood celebrities also got featured in the annual overview. Including singer Ariana Grande, the young American sensation Billie Eilish and the famous Kardashian sister Kylie Jenner with other massively followed YouTubers.

Talking of YouTubers, everyone is aware that Swedish YouTuber Pewdiepie owns the undefeated crown. This year’s YouTube Rewind had world’s favorite Pewdiepie and the theory solver Shawn Dawson in it as well. However, after stunning the world with his phenomenal speed, Shoaib Akhtar showed that cricket is not the only thing he is best at.

As per the YouTube video, the speedster uploaded his first opinionated video on February 11, 2019. In the list of new creators who gathered social fame in a short span of time, Shoaib Akhtar came in at number 10. Well, the audience is having mixed reactions on the creation of the video as some liked the video while others didn’t find it worthy.
