While the Uzma Khan controversy case might have sizzled down a little, the actress surely is not dealing with matters lying down. Recently she released another statement to shed further light on the ongoing Uzma Khan vs ‘Malik Riaz daughters’ case.
Uzma Khan took to Twitter to voice her distraught over how her case is being handled.
‘I am totally shattered’
“My FIR is legal. Blatant maligning and mudslinging is [sic] only reflective of our society’s deep-rooted misogyny and patriarchy.” She wrote in her latest official statement.
“I am totally shattered. Probably beyond repair. But please I beg of you NOT to make this a fight of women attacking other women.”

Meanwhile, the latest statement was issued after property tycoon Malik Riaz, took to Twitter to announce that he will be filing a lawsuit against Uzma khan’s lawyer for wrongfully maligning his name in the ongoing controversial case.
Legal proceedings initiated against an individual having a history of miscreant behaviour himself. Any attempts to defame me wrongfully will be dealt with legal action. https://t.co/cSHGvRjH8j

From Amna Usman and her mother barging into Uzma Khan and her sister‘s house for allegedly having an affair with her husband to dragging all the way down to courts – these women are not sparing a single soul involved in this entire debacle.
Uzma Khan’s initial statement
In her first statement released Uzma shared her ordeal of the whole incident. Further, she also demanded the government to provide justice despite the other parties’ strong influence.
“I have been shamed, blackmailed, harassed, been threatened to kill in the past 3 days. I feel I have nothing to lose now and I have decided to fight the strongest people of Pakistan. For me it is either I will get justice or I will be killed but there is no turning back now. I will fight against daughters (Amber Malik & Pashmina Malik) of Malik Riaz who stormed into my house around midnight with 12 gunmen.
I request the police to register my FIR and conduct my and my sister’s medical examination before our wounds start to heal. Hoping I am as much Pakistani as Malik Riaz.”
Actress Uzma Khan made her debut on the screens with WAAR. She was then seen in Yalghaar, before also playing a role in Jawani Phir Nahi Aani. The case has been garnering a lot of attention on social media, and people have been vocal.
