Whether you believe it or not, the ‘City of Lights’ Karachi is surprisingly filled with spooky stories passed down through time. The city has its own charm. Lately, we discovered this new haunted spot – more like a possessed tree at Shaheed-e-Millat road – which motorcyclists cannot pass without falling down.
You can walk into any historic building or cemetery in Karachi and you may catch sight of ghostly presences surrounding you. No kidding! The city has multiple spots affected by paranormal and unusual stuff. On a side note, the concept of jinn is something very common in Pakistani society.
As a matter of fact, you do not really count as a true Pakistani unless you have not heard the famous jinns stories from your cousins, friends, family, or literally anyone. Nonetheless, are you one of those who like to explore haunted places for fun or out of curiosity? Or ones who just enjoy reading about haunted places? Well, here you go!
The ‘possessed’ tree at Shaheed-e-Millat Road
A tree on Karachi’s Shaheed-e-Millat road appears to either be jinxed or possessed. The CCTV camera installed on the road is empirical evidence of every other motorcyclist that passes by it always falls out. That too, almost on daily basis.
On one hand, some people are of the opinion that the jinns are putting the frighteners on the bikers that pass by that tree. On the other hand, several people seem to hold a complete, but more logical opinion. So, the real question is: Are the motorbike slipping accidents really some kind of supernatural occurrences?
Here’s the video of the most recent one
According to the user, “Jinns live in a tree on Karachi’s Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Karachi that knock over passing motorcyclists.” How true is this claim? Is it possible that a supernatural force is causing the motorcycle riders to fall on the road?
There might be a probability that the tree is possessed by some mischievous jinn. In fact, your head probably might be making up stories to come up with a line of reasoning. In case you believe that the haphazard accidents at the busy road are forsooth caused by jinns, sorry folks, it is just pure physics at play here.
Another social media user revealed how the patch of road in question is actually damaged and uneven. Therefore, when an already less stable, two-wheel vehicle passes over the bumpy road, it loses its balance and tumbles to the ground.
It must be noted that the slightly uneven road might seem harmless. However, for a motorcyclist going at a medium pace or faster, it can be life-threatening. Especially, if caught in the onslaught of incoming traffic. There you go – mystery solved!
Because of their invisibility, many have denied the existence of jinns and continue raising such concerns. However, the effect of the jinn is alone an experience that needs no justification.
