Recently, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan penned down a heartfelt note in response to the hateful and ugly comments she has received over her appearance.
Suhana bravely opened up about receiving hate comments from social media users over her appearance. She also mentioned that she has been criticized for it since the age of 12!
Taking it to her Instagram, SRK’s daughter shared screenshots of messages and comments by netizens criticizing her complexion, adding translations for the benefit of non-Hindi speakers.
In her strongly-worded post, the young Indian model who recently appeared on the cover of Vogue India shared how she has been called nasty things like ‘kaali churail’ and been accused of undergoing surgeries. Stating the obvious that Indians are brown by default, Suhana wrote, ‘hating by yourself individuals simply means that you’re painfully insecure’.
Moreover, the hateful and ugly comments on Shah Rukh khan’s daughter said that Suhana’s skin tone was ‘too dark’ and called her ‘not beautiful at all’. She shared a powerful message about the need to end colorism. In addition to this, she said that she was extremely happy with her complexion and height.

Suhana talked about the beauty standards and said that she did not have any regrets that she was not 5’7 and light-skinned.
More so, she added, “I’m sorry if social media, Indian matchmaking, or even your own families have convinced you, that if you’re not 5’7 and fair you’re not beautiful.”
“I hope it helps to know that I’m 5’3 and brown and I am extremely happy about it and you should be too,” she said. The courageous youngster gave a befitting reply to all those trolls leaving nasty comments on her posts.
Moreover, in her Instagram post, she shared a chunk of pictures. With the first photo showing her smiling and soaking in the sun. Whereas, the rest of the pictures were not as happy. In her powerful post, the rest of the pictures had screenshots of hate comments on her skin shade by other social media users.

Suhana was showered with love and appreciation by Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and others. Everyone hailed her for being so brave and giving it back to the trolls in a classy style.
Additionally, the star kid thanked everyone for their support, compassion, and admiration. She also wrote that she would by no means get her pores or skin lightened.
