ISLAMABAD- Supreme Court (SC) has suspended Islamabad High Court (IHC) decision on debarring Mubashar Luqman senior anchorperson of ARY News from conducing Khara Sach program and allowed him to host this program.

A three-member bench of SC led by Justice Nasir ul Mulk took up for hearing Mubashar Luqman appeal plea against IHC decision today. Irfan Qadir advocate appeared on behalf of Mubashar Luqman and took the plea the high court gave decision keeping in view general apprehensions rather than rendering the decision on the basis of available material and evidence.

This decision is tantamount to gag freedom of expression. Under Article 19 of the constitution, it gives right of freedom of expression to everyone. The requisite evidence were not presented before IHC , therefore, the decision be suspended and his client be allowed to host this program.
