SAZGAR Engineering Works has reached a significant milestone by producing 10,000 locally assembled hybrid vehicles. The milestone, marked by the production of the Haval Decemilia, highlights SAZGAR’s continued growth and solidifies its position as a key player in Pakistan’s automotive industry.
In partnership with Great Wall Motors (GWM), SAZGAR has made significant strides in expanding Pakistan’s New Energy Vehicle (NEV) market. The company offers the country’s most comprehensive lineup of NEVs, ranging from the petrol-powered Haval Jolion to the futuristic ORA O3 electric vehicle and the high-performance ORA O7 sports EV. SAZGAR’s flagship model, the Haval H6 HEV, has consistently led the market throughout 2023-24, demonstrating the brand’s dominance in hybrid-electric technology.
Despite facing a challenging economic environment, SAZGAR’s ability to produce 10,000 vehicles reflects the company’s resilience and leadership. The achievement further positions SAZGAR as a driving force behind the shift toward more sustainable automotive solutions in Pakistan. The milestone was celebrated at a high-profile event held at SAZGAR’s assembly plant, attended by government officials, dealership partners, and SAZGAR employees. Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain, who served as the event’s Chief Guest, lauded SAZGAR’s accomplishments and reiterated the government’s support for innovative automotive technologies.
The company’s leadership team was also recognized for their pivotal contributions to the milestone. With the upcoming launch of the Tank 500 hybrid, SAZGAR and GWM are set to expand their NEV leadership further.
