Sale of Petrol-Powered Motorcycles Banned in Islamabad

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has banned the sale and purchase of petrol-powered motorcycles in Islamabad. So, as to ensure efforts to tackle pollution and improve air quality.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi chaired a meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) today. The meeting was conceived with an aim to review ongoing projects in the capital.

CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed the meeting. Pointer discussed laid emphasis upon refurbishment of enclosed areas and smart parking options.

Naqvi emphasized measures on eco-friendly solutions like E-bikes. Moreover, he envisioned to make Islamabad a world-class city.

Moreover, International standard emergency services will be provided to Islamabad’s citizens. Furthermore, the finalization of the establishment of Capital Waste Management Company was discussed.

Meanwhile, CDA will take over Metropolitan Cooperation Islamabad (MCA)’s administrative authorities.
