Saba Qamar Upcoming project, Stars As Politician In Drama “Mandi”

Saba Qamar Upcoming Project

In “Mandi,” a web series starring Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ainy Jaffri, and Shayan Khan, the actor will play Uzma.
It appears like Saba Qamar has finally gotten what she’s always wanted! Finally getting to play the part of a lifetime for the actor who had previously dreamed to portray a politician on screen!

The star plays Uzma, a politician, in Qamar’s next film Mandi. In addition, Mikaal Zulfiqar, who previously appeared on film alongside the former and Ahsan Khan in Fraud, plays a significant part in the web series. Qamar said on Instagram that Mandi would be playing a politician in her forthcoming project without providing any other information. For the aforementioned online series, Qamar and Zulfiqar have been filming. In past Saba Qamar Is Willing To Play Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

However, neither the actors nor the producers have officially admitted that Maryam Nawaz Sharif, PML-N vice president, is greatly influenced by Qamar’s character Uzma.

Speaking to The Express Tribune in May of this year, Qamar stated her desire to portray either the PML-N leader or the late former prime minister and PPP chairman Benazir Bhutto. I would adore playing a politician in a movie. Qamar revealed to the publication what her ideal job would be.

“I believe that we can create a fantastic movie about Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. On the big screen, I’d be open to playing Maryam Nawaz Sharif. I believe I can do it justice.”

She went on to explain, “Since politicians’ lives have so many facets, I am eager to portray one. When they interact with the public, at home with their families, and when they are among their peers, they are three different people. It’s intriguing. Political figures are on par with actors. Thus, I believe it to be relatable.”

Ainy Jaffri, an actor, is preparing to return to the small screen with the same project in addition to Qamar and Zulfiqar. The 33-year-old actor’s most recent TV appearances were in Tajdeed e Wafa in 2018 and the popular rom-com Balu Mahi in 2017.

Jaffri posted on Instagram, “It’s been a minute,” as she confirmed the rumours that she will be working with Qamar, Zulfiqar, and Shayan Khan. She continued, “I am incredibly humbled and thrilled to be a part of this production and join a cast that is incredibly skilled. I am both anxious and excited to be returning to acting after taking a four-year vacation to spend time with my new son and family.
