Saba Qamar, an actor who has worked in both film and television in Pakistan, recently made the announcement that she has been honored with a golden visa for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

On Tuesday, the renowned actor expressed her appreciation to the Gulf state for granting her a golden visa, writing on Instagram that she “cannot thank you enough” “for opening your home to me.”

In addition, Saba Qamar expressed her gratitude to the consultants that assisted her during the entire process and for the tremendous assistance they provided.

“I want to thank the amazing government of UAE for honoring me with the Golden Visa, can’t thank you guys enough for opening your home to me- this entire process wouldn’t have been possible without the help of @gcclegalconsultants you guys have been a great support- lots & lots of love your way!” she said.

Qamar also published a series of photographs on Facebook that featured the flags of Pakistan and the UAE.

The official website of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government describes the “golden visa” as a “long-term residence visa that enables foreign talents to live, work, or study in the country while enjoying exclusive benefits.”

Those who are eligible for the “golden visa” include investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, outstanding students and graduates, humanitarian pioneers, and frontline heroes, according to the report.
