There were reports that senior TV actress Rubina Ashraf was in critical condition at a local hospital in Karachi. She is fighting the novel coronavirus. Rubina was tested positive recently for COVID-19 and had isolated herself.
Meanwhile, the news of Rubina being in a critical condition made rounds on social media on Sunday. However, the veteran actress told Dawn News in an interview that she was not too well.
Famous anchor Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain on Monday also refuted rumors about Rubina’s critical health condition.
“Rubina Ashraf is at home and recovering fast. All the reports that she is critical and in ICU are baseless,” he said on Twitter.

Actress Sakina Samo is also suffering from COVID-19. Actor Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, Sana Javed, and others had earlier requested prayers for the senior actress.
