The untimely and tragic departure of Bollywood legend Rishi Kapoor has sent waves of sadness around the world. A highly talented actor and a good family man, Rishi Kapoor did justice to his presence on screen for decades.
Last week, Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67 years. He left behind his wife Neetu, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Ridhima Kapoor. The whole world mourned his death, still regaining consciousness from the news of actor Irrfan Khan’s demise.
There has been a wave of sadness and silence since Rishi Kapoor passed away. However, finally, Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor has broken her silence and sent a heartwarming message for the deceased actor’s fans.
Before passing away, Rishi Kapoor too left a video message for his fans from around the world.
Neetu took to Instagram and let the world know of her and her family’s feelings.
Neetu said she felt a great sense of loss after her husband’s tragic departure. However, there’s a twist in the tale. Instead of mourning as the world expected, Neetu took the higher moral way out, and felt ‘immense gratitude’.
She said she felt gratitude towards the staff of the HN reliance hospital, which included the doctors and other members. She said: “The whole team of doctors, brothers, and nurses headed by Dr. Tarang Gianchandani treated my husband like he was their own – they advised us like we were their own.. and for all that and more I thank them from the bottom of my heart.”
