PM Imran Khan Announces Relief Projects Of Rs 3 Billion For Pakistanis Living Near Line-Of-Control!

Pakistan’s Line Of Control is continuously violated by the Indian Army. Their shelling and firing across the LoC don’t just damage the properties of the locals residing nearby, but sometimes take their precious lives as well.

Azad Jammu & Kashmir’s Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider attended the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Imran Khan this Thursday the 20th of June. The AJK’s PM informed Imran about the various issues of the region.

The other attendees of the meeting were Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur, Minister for Planning Khusro Bakhtiar, Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda, Minister for Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar, the AJK chief secretary and other senior officials.

Rs. 3 billion rupee rehabilitation project For The LoC People.

Minister for Planning Khusro Bakhtiar gave a detailed briefing about the development projects that will be carried out in AJK. Coming to the issue of disturbance along the LoC, he informed about a 3 billion rupee rehabilitation project that has been decided for the affected people of AJK.

The project is aimed towards the welfare and rehabilitation of the people whose houses are destroyed by the frequent shelling by Indian forces from across the LoC.

Providing the people living there with Health Insaf Cards was also discussed.

During the meeting, AJK’s PM Raja Haider praised Prime Minister Imran Khan for raising the Kashmir issue on an international level. He also shows his appreciation towards taking interest in the matters pertaining to the people of AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan.

He said, “The AJK government is thankful to PM Khan for highlighting the Kashmir issue at the international level, countering aggression of Indian forces, inclusion of AJK in different development forums, including newly-formed National Development Council, and providing funds for the development of AJK

Tourism was another important matter that was the subject of discussion in the meeting. Imran Khan has always stressed upon the immense tourism potential Pakistan possess with its beautiful northern landscapes. He said, “Pakistani tourists need to be given awareness about the scenic beauty of the country,”
