Ranbir Kapoor’s Lookalike From Indian-Occupied Kashmir Passes Away

In a tragic development, Junaid Shah, a young Kashmiri model who was known for his resemblance to Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, has passed away at his Srinagar residence on Friday.

The model from Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) rose to fame due to his resemblance with the Bollywood star. Internet discovered him and his pictures quickly went viral.  Junaid has passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest. He was reported to be in his late twenties.

The family’s former neighbour and veteran Kashmir journalist, Yusuf Jameel said that Junaid died due to massive cardiac arrest overnight.

Junaid became extremely popular for his good looks. In fact, the actor’s later father Rishi Kapoor had also once tweeted about him. Sharing a collage of Ranbir and Junaid, the legendary Rishi Kapoor had once written, “OMG. My own son has a double! Promise cannot make out. A good double.”

As per reports, Junaid also featured on many Indian TV channels including Zoom TV, MTV and Zee TV. Junaid used to often dress up like Ranbir’s characters from his movies. He was referred to as ‘Junaid Shah the upcoming RK’ by people who knew him.

We mourn the death of young Kashmiri actor.
