The speculation began when Rakhi issued a playful dance challenge to Pakistani actresses Hania Aamir, Nargis, and Deedar. This led to a lively back-and-forth, particularly between Rakhi and Hania. During this interaction, Rakhi expressed her desire to visit Pakistan, citing India’s TikTok ban as a reason, while taking a dig at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dodi Khan Sends Marriage Proposal To Rakhi Sawant
Recently, Rakhi posted a video claiming to be at Lahore’s airport, though the authenticity of her location remains unverified. Meanwhile, Dodi Khan, known for his role in Ghabrana Nahi Hai (2022), jokingly asked Rakhi on Instagram whether he should send a wedding procession to India or Dubai, considering her frequent travels between the two places.
Rakhi Confirms Marriage Plans
On Tuesday, Indian media outlet News18 Showsha reached out to Rakhi to address the marriage rumors. She responded with confirmation, saying, “He is my love. We love each other. He is from Pakistan. I am from India, so we will have a love marriage.”

Tensions with Ex-Husband Adil Khan Durrani
During her statement, Rakhi also took aim at her ex-husband, Adil Khan Durrani, accusing him of spreading false claims. “Adil is jealous of my marriage. He wants negative publicity using my name, and I don’t want to give him any attention,” she stated.
A History of Marriages and Controversies
If the marriage goes through, it will be Rakhi’s third. Her first husband, Ritesh Raj Singh, appeared alongside her in Bigg Boss 15 before their separation in 2022. She later married Adil Khan Durrani, but their relationship ended in 2023 amid allegations of infidelity. Adil was arrested and spent five months in jail before his release.

In an interview with Ambreen Fatima, Rakhi revealed that Dodi proposed to her, and she accepted. She humorously mentioned that she hadn’t considered whether their future children would be born in Pakistan or India. Rakhi also shared that their wedding would follow Islamic traditions and emphasized her desire for a religious husband who prays five times a day.
