Opposition leader Omer Ayub along with Rauf Hassan and Gohar Khan, met the US Ambassador Donal Blome.
Seeking assurance for the many bilateral agreements that are taking place between the USA and Pakistan Donald Blome met opposition leader Omer Ayub. On the insistence of the US ambassador Foreign Office (FO) reached out to Omer Ayub Khan.

As per the guidelines, the meeting was being held through the proper channels. Omer Ayub, along with chairmen Gohar Khan and Rauf Hassan, met Donald Blome to discuss bilateral trade and seeking opposition’s insurance over many aspects of the US-Pak relationship.
When inquired about the discussions over Imran’s current imprisonment, Omer Ayub clearly stated that the US ambassador is not the right authority and has no jurisdiction to be involved.
