The phone is launched with the goal of building a strong foundation for all its predecessors by offering better performance. With its smart features, it is predicted that it will be able to capture a large market share.  When we look at its design, the Huawei Nova 7i looks like reminiscent of last year’s Nova 5T albeit with added features.

The display screen is a little big with a 6.4-inch LTPS IPS screen at the front having a resolution of 2310 x 1080. The IPS display allows wide ranging of angles for a better experience and gives enhancement to phone usage. Colors reproduce with good contrasts and brightness. Brightness produced is perfect for outdoor usage where light sensors adjust frequently. Let’s find out more about it.

User interface

The phone runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10. The phone offers features such as multi-window mode allowing easy access to different apps at once. Choice is available between layouts and presets to buttons and gestures where you can switch easily from one window to another with a simple touch The phone however doesn’t come with Google services which is one major drawback. Huawei provides personal mobile services and the App Gallery in a personalized window only available for Huawei customers.

The Huawei Nova 7i operates on a Kirin 810 chip with 8GB of RAM and expandable storage of up to 128GB. It is based on a TSMC’s 7nm process, the Kirin 810 features two Cortex-A76 big cores with a speed of 2.27GHz and six Cortex-A55 little cores of up to 1.88GHz. Expandable storage is available only when a nano memory card is used.

Huawei Nova 7i has a 48MP f/1.8 main camera. Photos taken through primary shooters are detailed and saturated. There is an 8MP f/2.4 ultrawide camera also taking detailed photos. Photos are clear and bright and can be edited through an added feature.

Huawei Nova 7i has a 4,200mAh battery which can be recharged through a USB Type-C port at the bottom. A full battery charge can last for a day. In the PCMark Work 2.0 battery life test, the device ran for 13 hours and 36 minutes with medium brightness and volume. Nova 7i supports the 40W Huawei Super Charge. It takes an hour to fully charge the 4,200mAh battery. This feature is important for those having high phone usage.

The Huawei Nova 7i is considered a phone giving the best smartphone experience and is positioned well in the market. There are a few downsides as well like no Google services which might affect its sales. Expansion of the memory can be a bit costly as the phone supports only Nano Memory Cards, compared to MicroSD cards with similar storage. All of its features are attractive enough to capture a large market share.
