ASUS ROG 2 – The Gaming Beast!
We all have heard about gaming phones being the next best thing, ASUS has been way ahead of us in this plan. The phone ROG 2 is the ultimate gaming phone in the market right now. Before we dig deep into specs and what kind of games can you play on ASUS Rog 2, we must understand the ROG 2 is the most underrated phone. Not only from the gaming perspective, also from day to day usage.
Who doesn’t like to take a small break at work and play PUBG or Call of Duty on your smartphone? I do and when I do so my phone’s minimal capacity hinders you from enjoying your gaming experience! I was thinking of buying a better phone, probably opt for iPhone 11 but then I saw ASUS Rog 2 and my decision became utter.
The gig on this phone is not comparable to any, from the processor to the gaming experience to the day to day use!
To start with, this phone actually comes in a suitcase of its own. Talk about travelling buddy, this phone brings home each and everything you might ever use! Wireless charger, charger, mobile cover, a phone cooler and countless other things!
Specs of the power-house Asus Rog 2!
First let’s talk about the processor and ROG 2’s specs. The phone has 12 gb of ram, and 1 tb harddrive starting from 256 gb. It’s elegant design consists of a 6.58’ inch display, which we will discuss in detail soon. A plastic body, to make it lightweight and a sleek body of 9.5 mm. The entire phone, without any accessories attached weighs around 250g! Isn’t that just cool? It’s Octa-Core processors helps you to play thousands of games without any hindrance. (1×2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.78 GHz Kryo 485)
The phone has a front camera of 24 MP, making your selfie experience worth the while. Also a 48 MP rear camera (wide) and 13 MP (ultrawide). What else do you need; a trypophobic back with 3 cameras? I bet no. So let those HDR pictures come cause this phone also has the power to support it!
ASUS ROG 2’s battery life is amazing, a Li-Po 6000 mAh battery. Hence the full battery is going to work for 132 hours! My God! That means 5.5 days, which means I’ll be charging my new phone only on weekends!
The 2160p @30/60 fps display makes your gaming experience brighten up, now you can enjoy the 4k Netflix experience on your phone and enjoy the graphics as they are supposed to be enjoyed. I know every gamer will agree with me when I say that display is one of the most important features when it comes to enjoying a game. Also the phone is compatible to other modes as well, so don’t worry if you still don’t have a 4k connection.
You can also make 2160p videos with your ultrawide/wide angle rear camera, though the front camera only supports uptil 1080p videos (in the making).
Before we talk about what makes ASUS ROG 2 better than other gaming phones, it is understandable that it comes with 3 wi-fi antennas for fast internet support, bluetooth compatible, also it comes with a type-C charger. The company not only sends you a compatible charger for the phone, also sends a fast charger, with a cable of excellent quality, embedded inside the box.
The phone comes with Android 9.0 (Pie) installed and customized for better gaming experience, with a customized theme and all. Also the phone supports 2 SIM cards, which can make your life easier, you don’t have to carry around two phones. (Even-though this is an old feature, just bragging about it!)
What Sets Asus Rog II Apart?
To start with, the phone has 4 microphones embedded! Haven’t we all experience a bit of cut when we’re playing online and we have to command people to do something, but they always get confused and complain of not hearing you properly. This is why, ASUS introduces 4 microphones to let you communicate easier with your peers!
Talking about the microphones, reminds of its speakers. Viable and loud stereo speakers. Enabling your phone to go dobby all over!
Now the main thing, the phone has a GPU of Adreno 640 700MHz. This enables the phone to several thousand games and honestly, this phone works out all other gaming phones. It is the best gaming phone in the market right now!
The introductory price of this phone in Pakistan is 162,000 rupees. We know the price sounds much, but it is worth the experience. If you compare this phone with other brands, you’ll find the price reasonable. It’s like buying a gaming station along with a phone transmitter!
