PPP Announced Countrywide Protests After Zardari’s Arrest And Honest Pakistanis Are Ready To Face It!

It all happened when Islamabad High Court rejected Zardari’s bail plea and issues an arrest warrant against him. Asif Ali Zardari had submitted an application to extend the pre-arrest bail of his and his sister Faryal Talpur as both of them had left the court premises before the verdict was given. Zardari had already got a got an extension in his pre-arrest bail five times and was on bail for two months and 12 days.

However, NAB finally arrested the former president, Asif Ali Zardari on Monday outside his residence in Islamabad’s F-8 for his money laundering case. 

In Pakistan, the arrest of a political leader or member leads to nationwide protests which means, after the arrest of Asif Zardari, the people would expect a similar and that’s exactly what happened.

The PPP party workers staged protests across the country, mainly in Nawabshah, Larkana, Sukkur, Lahore, Hyderabad and Karachi. Although the party’s chairman and son of Asif Zardari had ordered to protest peacefully, PPP workers were seen setting things on fire, breaking windows with a stick while holding the party flag in the other hand.
