Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday formed a high-level committee to handle potential emergencies arising from the upcoming monsoon.
PM has initiated to integration of advanced monsoon information into the national broadcast. The initiative is to regularly inform citizens of the upcoming rainfall and possible dangers. More so, the PM emphasized information disseminated to farmers. So to protect their farms from flooding.
All intuitions are to remain on high alert. NDMA is to contact all provinces. NDMA, further, informed about the possible situation arising from the monsoon.
The meeting also discussed a contingency plan. Moreover, the plan has been passed to different departments.
