On Friday, another innocent girl and daughter were killed by one of the famous Pakistani Journalist’s sons with a dumbbell. The news spread all over social media and much another news outlets also covered as well.
Shah Nawaz, son of Ayaz Amir, was living on a farmhouse in Islamabad’s Chak Shehzad area.
The Islamabad Police said that the suspect killed his wife inside their house. “Forensic teams along with senior officers have reached the site and an investigation has begun,” the police said.
Sara Inam was 37 years old and a Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin. As per the report, Shah Nawaz married thrice and he killed her because he assumed that she was having an affair.
Although he was arrested immediately and claimed that he did murder his wife.
But on Monday, things went on a different way and he was released on physical remand.
Physical Remand of Shah Nawaz
On Monday, the local court extended the physical remand of the main suspects’ Shah Nawaz and his father Ayaz Amir. They were nominated in the FIR by the victim’s family. Shahnawaz Amir and Ayaz Amir presented in the court under the Judicial Magistrate Amir Aziz Khan who took up the case for hearing.
The investigating officer (IO) told the court that the deceased’s uncle has nominated Ayaz Amir in the murder case. The IO said that the complainant in his statement said that Ayaz Amir was also involved in a “conspiracy” that led to the murder.
As per the police, Ayaz Amir kept the marriage of his son and Sara secret. The police further stated that the victim’s parents will be in Islamabad in a day or so and they may have some evidence too against the suspect(s).

During the hearing, Ayaz Amir took his stance and stated that he was in Chakwal when he came to know about the incident on the phone. “I immediately called the Islamabad police IG and the SP Islamabad (rural),” he told the court adding that “I was worried that nobody should be injured in the incident”.
He said that he also told the SHO about the route that led to the farmhouse where the incident had happened. “Evidence should be produced against me as I am accused in the case. There is nothing against me in this case. The police registered a case against me and I recorded my statement to the police yesterday,” Ayaz Amir told the court adding that the police had asked nothing more from him since he recorded his statement yesterday.
Police requested a week of physical remand to investigate the case, but the court extended one day of physical remand of Ayaz Amir and three-day physical remand of Shahnawaz.
It was another barbarian act, last year in July Zahir Jaffer brutally killed his wife Noor Mukadam and beheaded her. It was a high-profile case and almost 6 months later a court sentenced Zahir to death for murdering Noor Mukadam.
