According to government officials, the first patient of Coronavirus is fully recovered. The diseases similar to pneumonia hit the young student of Karachi, from which he is now fully recovered.
Moreover, the patient is going to be discharged from the hospital today. As per reports, a third test of the patient came out negative, which led to his discharge.
An official told the private news channel about the recovery of the patient.
“The patient was in isolation and treatment for the past 10 days and was tested three times. The third test was done this (Friday) morning and it came out negative after which he was cleared by the authorities.”
Besides, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, felicitated the family of the victim of COVID-19, declaring it a “great victor”. The Chief Minister was apprised about the patient in an assemblage regarding the coronavirus task force in Karachi.
Reportedly, the patient went to the holy city of QUM in Iran, where he got the virus and was diagnosed on February 26. As per reports, he had gone to Iran along with 28 pilgrims. Thereafter, the patient was shifted to a private hospital in the isolation ward.
Furthermore, following the patient’s admittance to the hospital, his family was put in quarantine. His family included father, mother, and sister. However, they were discharged after their reports of COVIC-19 came out negative.
